The Blood on British Hands

The UK government, its civil service and diplomats have failed to prevent genocide, under any objective assessment. They've not only failed, but they've fuelled it, and failed to punish those directly committing it. Those named below bear individual responsibility, for which there's no defence of superior orders or following policy, there's only individual accountability. Since October 2023, Israel has escalated its systematic genocidal extermination of the Palestinian people. These crimes, human rights abuses and atrocities are well documented by the perpetrators themselves, advertised online, on TV and in their political discourse. They are undeniable.

The UN Commission of Inquiry found at least 30% of all Palestinians killed in Gaza between October 2023 and October 2025 were children, which is proportionally higher than any previous phase of Israel's 80-year long genocide. In Ukraine it's less than 0.3% child deaths, showing the difference between genocide and conflict in one statistic. Israel employed the Dahiya Doctrine, deliberately and illegally targeting civilian infrastructure to increase civilian suffering, and activated the Hannibal Directive, murdering their own civilians and hostages. Every major human rights organisation has documented it as a genocide, even a large number of jewish ones, UN experts have declared it, and the perpetually late International Court of Justice found it "plausible." The word genocide is no longer debatable, without remaining ignorant or negligent of reality, or being complicit in it.

The UK has fully enabled every single stage of this genocide, supplied weapons and intelligence, given diplomatic cover, offered military support, arrested those who protested and refused to prosecute those who enabled it. The UK is a co-perpetrator, and the individuals below are just a fraction of those who bear direct individual responsibility in their contravention of the Genocide Convention. They all knew, chose to enable it and should be put on trial, like the Nazis that went before them were. Nuremberg Principle IV states, "The fact that a person acted pursuant to order of his Government or of a superior does not relieve him from responsibility under international law." Eighty years after Nuremberg, we must apply that principle again.

Starmer's Own Words

"I think it's absolutely necessary that Israel has the right to defend itself. I think Israel has the right to do what it's doing", stated on live radio, LBC on 11 October 2023, agreeing that food, water and electricity can be cut off, which is collective punishment, and a war crime.

"We are not legally required to suspend arms sales" while lying in Parliament, on 4 September 2025, as the Genocide Convention expressly says states must prevent genocide, and providing the weapons to commit genocide is not preventing it.

"No...banning all sales would mean none for defensive purposes, on the anniversary of October 7...would be the wrong position and I will not take it" said on October 7 2024, failing to admit that states are legally obliged to prevent genocide, which the UK is actively fuelling.

By November 2023, over 10,000 Palestinians were dead, Starmer knew and mentioned none. By April 2024, over 34,000 were dead, the ICJ had found it plausible genocide, Starmer declared he would "not second-guess" Israel's military decisions, an explicit refusal to uphold his legal duty to prevent genocide. He refused to suspend arms exports and continued intelligence sharing, while providing diplomatic cover, suppressing dissent, and failing to prosecute offenders fuelling genocide. He's the co-perpetrator-in-chief, as was his predecessor Sunak, and successor, Andy Burnham.

Nazi equivalent: Hans Lammers, Chief of Reich Chancellery, convicted and sentenced to 20 years.

Falconer's Own Words

"It is the UK government’s long-standing position that any formal determination as to whether genocide has occurred is a matter for a competent court, and not for governments or non-judicial bodies" said on 14 May 2025, which knowingly shirks legal responsibility of states under the Genocide Convention.

"Support for Israel's security remains steadfast, as it does for Israel's right to self-defence against terrorism and state threats" said on 16 December 2024, falsely labelling the legal rights of people fighting oppression under an illegal occupation as terrorism, and thereby manufacturing consent for genocide.

"We continue to stand with Israel and its legitimate self-defence against Iran those that wish harm against the Israeli people" said on 20 January 2025, failing to recognise Iran has the right to self-defence, and under international law, Iran was acting legally, and Israel was contravening it, thus lying to manufacture consent for genocide.

Falconer's claim that Israel is "acting in accordance with international law" was made after the ICJ found it plausible genocide, after the UN Commission documented systematic war crimes, after Amnesty and Human Rights Watch documented genocide. He lied to provide legal cover for continued arms exports, he lobbied EU partners to block ceasefire resolutions, he defended intelligence sharing that enabled targeting of civilians, he supported the criminalisation of Palestine Action activists, and used his position to knowingly enable genocide. By May 2025, Falconer acknowledged Israel was blocking aid as a "pressure lever" yet the UK continued arms exports and diplomatic cover. He's rightly known as the UK Minister for Genocide.

Nazi equivalent: Wilhelm Frick – Minister of the Interior, convicted on all counts, sentenced to death.

The evidence shows the FCDO assessed 413 IHL violations by Israel, and of those, in 411 cases, it found "insufficient information to decide either way," which is an impressive 99.5% failure rate, siding with the genocidaires. The ECJU also found, "It is uncontentious that conduct which could, in principle, satisfy the physical component of genocide continues to take place in Gaza." Alongside, FCDO whistleblower testimony given by Mark Smith that, "Thousands of conversations within the walls of the Foreign Office on the most controversial aspects of our arms sales policy will never be seen by the public. I was routinely asked to go to senior directors' offices and told to, quote, 'make the situation look less bad'. Instructions were given to diplomats and civil servants 'not to record discussions of the issue at all'." Upon retiring, Wormald said,"It has been an honour and a privilege to serve as a civil servant", while fully supporting and enabling a genocide.

As the head of the UK civil service, Wormald oversaw the culture of deception documented by whistleblowers, failed to ensure investigation of violations, failed to advise ministers to suspend arms exports, and knowingly allowed a system where discussions on genocide were deliberately not recorded to avoid legal scrutiny in an attempt to avoid accountability for a British government guilty of crimes that he is part of.

Nazi equivalent: Alfred Jodl – Chief of Operations, OKW, convicted on all counts, sentenced to death.

The RAF conducted over 600 surveillance flights over Gaza, sharing intelligence with Israelis committing genocide. A British spy team was knowingly deployed to provide "added value" to intelligence operations for genocide, and UK military have trained so-called Israeli "soldiers" in urban terror, counter-insurgency and intelligence operations knowing they would be used in an ongoing genocide. RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus is wilfully used for reconnaissance flights and military transport, including 36 military transport aircraft to Tel Aviv to support the genocide. He confirmed, "It is a privilege to do the job; I am delighted to be here" on 17 March 2026, while fully supporting a genocide. As the top civil servant in the Ministry of Defence, Pocklington oversaw every aspect of UK military support to Israel, wilfully and knowingly enabling a genocide through intelligence sharing, military logistics and arms transport.

Nazi equivalent: Ernst von Weizsäcker – State Secretary at the German Foreign Office, convicted of crimes against humanity, sentenced to 7 years.

The evidence shows the FCDO 413 IHL violations as noted above, as well as the FCDO's legal advisers providing legal cover for continued arms exports, in contravention of international law, alongside the FCDO determining Israel wasn't committing genocide, despite the overwhelming evidence that is precisely what they are doing. FCDO lobbied, and continues to do so, EU and UN partners to block ceasefire resolutions. As head of the Foreign Office, Barton wilfully and knowingly presided over diplomatic and legal cover for genocide, enabling arms exports, blocking international action and providing diplomatic cover for Israel's crimes against humanity.

Nazi equivalent: Arthur Seyss-Inquart, Reich Commissioner, convicted and sentenced to death, executed in 1946.

Woodward's own words, "We support Israel's right to defend itself against Hamas, take back the hostages, deter further incursions, and strengthen its security for the long term" which fails to admit people who are illegally occupied have the right to resist. She said this on 18 October 2023, manufacturing consent for collective punishment, a war crime, against innocent people. Woodward urged all parties to sustain ceasefire deals on 25 February 2025, but didn't meaningfully address ongoing violations or the UK's continued arms exports to Israel who continue to murder innocent people in Occupied Palestine. Woodward voted against a UN Security Council ceasefire resolution in April 2024, and abstained on a ceasefire resolution in December 2024, effectively blocking it, knowingly leading to a continuation of a genocide.

By blocking ceasefire resolutions at the UN, Woodward prevented the international community from stopping the genocide, knowingly providing diplomatic cover for war crimes and crimes against humanity. Woodward abstained on UN resolutions because they didn't sufficiently endorse Israel's "right to self-defence" which was the UK's first diplomatic cover for the Israeli genocide at the UN, and she uses the "human shields" argument to justify illegal collective punishment of Gaza's civilian population. The UK knowingly provides diplomatic cover for Israel, attempting to shield it from accountability for its crimes, and it still does. Its current incumbent, Kate Foster is equally guilty and should be added to the defendants list for Nuremberg 2.0.

Nazi equivalent: Walter Schellenberg – Chief of the SD, convicted of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Since October 2023, the UK has deployed a spy team to knowingly support genocide, with "added value" to intelligence operations to help in murdering innocent people. The RAF has conducted over 600 surveillance flights over Gaza, sharing intelligence with Israelis, some of whom have admitted they're committing genocide. The UK regularly shares SIGINT and IMINT facilitating Israel's genocide of Semitic Palestinians. The intelligence services liaise knowingly and wilfully with those committing and therefore enable genocide by providing real-time intelligence that facilitates targeting decisions of innocent people.

Nazi equivalent: Albert Speer – Minister of Armaments, convicted of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Her own department's findings, "It is uncontentious that conduct which could, in principle, satisfy the physical component of genocide continues to take place in Gaza" published in June 2024. Despite finding that genocide conditions were present, the ECJU failed to recommend a full arms embargo and failed to suspend arms export licences, failing to correctly advise ministers accordingly and is therefore complicit in genocide. The UK supplies arms to fuel Israel's murderous genocide, including components for F-35 fighter jets used in the illegal bombing of Gaza.

Nazi equivalent: Franz Schlegelberger – Acting Minister of Justice, convicted of crimes against humanity, sentenced to life imprisonment.

A formal criminal complaint was submitted under the International Criminal Court Act 2001 for investigation of four current and former British directors of Elbit Systems UK for complicity in war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide. Parkinson failed to prosecute these directors, failed to prosecute UK nationals who volunteered for the IDF and failed to investigate UK complicity. By failing to prosecute, Parkinson shielded the arms industry, British volunteers for IOF and others from accountability, knowingly providing legal cover for genocide.

Nazi equivalent: Ernst Kaltenbrunner – Chief of the Reich Security Main Office, convicted on all counts, sentenced to death.

The Met Police have arrested thousands of pro-Palestine protestors, who were legally using freedom of speech to legally oppose a genocide, with the Home Office choosing to criminalise freedom of expression by expanding police powers in a truly authoritarian manner under the Public Order Act. The police have arrested Palestine Action activists for protesting outside Elbit Systems UK premises, and have arrested their supporters for holding signs including the frail, elderly, blind and members of the clergy, holding placards critical of Israel who are wilfully murdering thousands of babies. The Met's Counter Terrorism Command received a formal criminal complaint against Elbit Systems directors and failed to investigate. The Met Police used the law to suppress dissent against genocide, arrested those protesting against arms manufacturing for Israel, while failing to investigate the arms manufacturers themselves.

Alfred Jodl - claimed he was "just a soldier following orders." He was executed.

Wilhelm Keitel - claimed he was "just a soldier." He was executed.

Wilhelm Frick was the chief administrator of the Nazi state, drafted and implemented the laws that stripped Jews of their rights. He was executed.

Joachim von Ribbentrop used diplomacy to enable Nazi aggression. He was executed.

Franz Schlegelberger perverted the law to enable Nazi crimes. He was sentenced to life imprisonment.

Gustav Krupp supplied weapons to the Nazi regime. He was indicted (too ill to stand trial); his son was convicted.

Julius Streicher published Der Stürmer and incited persecution of Jews. He was executed.

Ernst Kaltenbrunner was responsible for the Gestapo, SD and SS. He was executed.

Hannah Arendt observed evil isn't always monstrous, it's often bureaucratic, mundane and thoughtless. Adolf Eichmann was a monster, but he was a bureaucratic one who "just followed orders." The Nuremberg Tribunal rightly rejected this defence and the world saw that bureaucratic complicity is still complicity in crimes. In the UK, civil servants processing arms export licences "as a matter of routine" while genocide conditions were present, diplomats "just following policy" in blocking ceasefire resolutions, judges "just applying the law" in dismissing Palestine Action cases, police "just enforcing the law" in arresting protestors, are all guilty of complicity in genocide. Individually. Personally. Directly. Guilty.

This is the banality of evil, ordinary people, in ordinary roles, committing extraordinary crimes through bureaucratic complicity.
