1. Why we publish this
Readers are entitled to know who stands behind the journalism they read and who pays for it. This page sets out who owns Gazatte, where our money comes from, and the rules that keep those two things separate from editorial decisions.

Gazatte has no parent company, shareholders or investors, and no other person or organisation holds a stake in it. We do not publish a postal address or location; to reach us, use the contact details above.
3. How we are funded
Privately funded by the founder
Gazatte is privately funded by its founder, who pays its running costs.
No investors, grants or donations
Gazatte has no investors and receives no grants or donations.
Advertising and sponsorship
Gazatte may carry Adsterra and Google advertising and sponsorships, without influence on editorial decisions. Ads are labelled “Advertisement”. Advertising runs on public pages, for signed-in users too, but never in dashboards or account-management areas. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked first; anyone can turn it off with “Cookie settings” in the footer.
4. Editorial independence
Gazatte is privately funded by its founder. No investor, donor, sponsor or advertiser has any say over what we cover, how we cover it, or when we publish. Editorial decisions are made in the newsroom alone.
Advertisers and sponsors have no influence over our journalism and never see it before publication. Ads are kept visually separate from our reporting; those within our pages are marked “Advertisement”. Sponsored content is marked “Sponsored”, and any article that concerns an advertiser or sponsor will disclose that relationship in the article itself.
5. Changes to this page
This page is our public record of who owns Gazatte and how it is funded. If either changes, including if we accept any outside funding, we will update this page and the date at the top.
