In a statement issued on Thursday, the Government Media Office said the reported violations coincided with continued obstacles to the entry of food and humanitarian aid trucks, as well as strict restrictions on the movement of residents into and out of the Gaza Strip.

The office said 159 Palestinians were detained during the ceasefire period, adding that only 63,094 aid trucks entered Gaza out of 180,000 trucks that were expected to arrive by this point, representing an implementation rate of no more than 35%.

It also stated that only 10,703 travelers were allowed to leave Gaza out of 27,400 people who were expected to be permitted to travel since the agreement to reopen the Rafah border crossing, with an implementation rate of 39%.

The Government Media Office condemned what it described as continued attacks against Palestinians and held the Israeli army responsible for the worsening humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.

It called on mediators and guarantors of the ceasefire agreement to pressure Israel to implement all terms of the agreement and halt what it described as ongoing violations.
