The Health Ministry in Gaza said on Sunday that the death toll from the war in the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,356, while the number of injured has reached 174,185 since October 7, 2023.
The ministry said hospitals across the enclave received seven fatalities over the past 24 hours, including one person who died from previous injuries, in addition to 23 wounded.
It added that the total number of fatalities recorded since the resumption of hostilities following the ceasefire on October 11 has reached 1,230, while the number of injuries has risen to 4,076.
The ministry also reported 804 recovered bodies during the same period.
According to the ministry, a number of victims remain trapped beneath rubble or in areas inaccessible to emergency crews, as ongoing conditions continue to prevent ambulance and civil defense teams from reaching them.
