The reported death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,910, with 174,935 Palestinians injured since October 7, 2023, according to medical sources in Gaza on Sunday.

Hospitals across the enclave received the bodies of three Palestinians and 21 injured people over the previous 24 hours, the sources said.

The latest figures bring the reported number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire that took effect on October 11, 2025, to 1,393, while 4,822 people have been injured during the same period.

A total of 831 bodies have also been recovered from under the rubble since the ceasefire, according to the medical authorities.

The figures include deaths recorded by hospitals and recovered bodies, while medical sources said that other victims remain trapped under collapsed buildings or in the streets because ambulance and rescue teams have been unable to reach them.

The cumulative death toll also increased after Gaza's health authorities added 85 previously unrecorded deaths following the completion and approval of their records. The additions were made after the previous update on September 5, according to the authorities.

The figures are issued by health authorities in Gaza and do not distinguish in the reported total between civilians and combatants.
