Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said cooperation between Kyiv and Washington on unmanned aerial vehicles will include establishing a factory in the United States to manufacture drones using advanced Ukrainian technology.

Zelensky said Ukraine wants to move quickly to implement a preliminary drone agreement reached with Washington.

He explained that drone technology is developing continuously, noting that Ukrainian drones can now travel more than 3,000 kilometres and are expected to achieve even greater ranges in the future.

Zelensky described the proposed partnership as mutually beneficial, combining Ukraine’s drone expertise with advanced American technology.

He said the two countries intend to build a large manufacturing facility in the United States equipped with dedicated production lines.

Details of the agreement are still being developed ahead of Zelensky’s talks with US President Donald Trump, scheduled for Tuesday.
