The Gaza Strip witnessed a sharp escalation over the course of approximately 90 minutes after Israeli forces issued a series of evacuation warnings across multiple areas before launching consecutive airstrikes on several of the threatened locations.

The first warnings were reported in northern Gaza, where several homes in Jabalia and Beit Lahia were ordered to evacuate. Another warning covered a residential block surrounding Al-Nour Mosque in Block 9 of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

In Gaza City, a confirmed evacuation order was issued for the Kashko area in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of the city. Israeli warplanes later struck the area with two missiles, and local medical sources reported that casualties were transported to Al-Ahli Arab Hospital.

The warnings then expanded to include a home near Al-Zaharna Tower in the Yarmouk area and a residential building near Salah al-Din School close to Palestine Square. Shortly afterward, Israeli aircraft destroyed the targeted house, while ambulance and civil defense crews responded to the scene. Local reports said two people were injured in the strike.

Over the course of the escalation, Israeli strikes hit several locations that had received prior evacuation warnings, including:

  • A home in Jabalia refugee camp.
  • A home in the Yarmouk area of Gaza City.
  • An industrial facility in the Zeitoun neighborhood.
  • Al-Nour Mosque in Al-Bureij refugee camp.

At the same time, Israeli artillery shelling continued to target eastern Gaza City, the eastern parts of the Zeitoun neighborhood, and eastern Khan Younis.

By the time of publication, evacuation warnings remained in effect for a residential building near Palestine Square in Gaza City and another home in Beit Lahia, raising fears of further strikes.
