The escalation was particularly concentrated in Jerusalem, where an 18-year-old Palestinian was shot and injured by Israeli forces near the separation wall north of the city. Israeli troops also stormed Shuafat refugee camp, Issawiya, and Qalandiya camp, while snipers were deployed on rooftops and strict security measures were imposed around Al-Aqsa Mosque during Friday prayers. Several Palestinians and Jerusalem-based activists were detained during the raids.
In the town of Al-Eizariya, Israeli authorities notified dozens of residents to evacuate their shops and commercial facilities ahead of planned demolitions linked to the so-called “Fabric of Life” road project. Additional evacuation notices were also issued in Silwan.
In Nablus, Israeli forces raided the city and Askar refugee camp, storming several homes and arresting a number of Palestinians, including former detainees. Meanwhile, settlers carried out attacks in the towns of Qusra, Beita, and Yatma, uprooting olive trees, setting farmland ablaze, and stealing agricultural equipment and private property.
Settler attacks also intensified in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh area, where homes and vehicles were torched and racist graffiti was sprayed on walls. At the same time, settlers began bulldozing land and constructing settlement roads near the villages of Al-Mughayyir, Abu Falah, and Jiljilya in an effort to connect settlement outposts in the area. A 13-year-old Palestinian girl was injured by rubber-coated metal bullets during an Israeli military raid in Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah.
In Hebron, settlers assaulted Palestinian residents in Masafer Yatta and the village of Shuweika, causing injuries and damaging vehicles. In another incident south of the city, settlers released livestock into agricultural lands, causing significant damage to crops and fields, while Israeli forces arrested several Palestinians during the confrontations.
Bethlehem, Salfit, Tubas, Qalqilya, and Jenin also witnessed raids, arrests, and settler violence, amid growing settlement expansion plans in the northern West Bank following Israeli moves to reestablish previously evacuated settlements.
The escalation comes amid ongoing military operations and daily attacks targeting Palestinians, their homes, and farmland across the West Bank and Jerusalem, raising concerns over a further increase in tensions and violence in the coming period.
