The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that one man was killed when an Israeli quadcopter drone dropped a bomb on Gaza Old Street in Jabalia, north of Gaza City. Another was shot dead by Israeli snipers outside an UNRWA clinic in Jabalia camp.
Several others were injured by Israeli gunfire near Bani Suhaila roundabout east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Israel has intensified its strikes on Gaza during the five weeks following the ceasefire in the war it waged with the United States against Iran, redirecting fire toward the devastated enclave where the army believes Hamas fighters are consolidating control.
The Gaza Health Ministry said Wednesday that 120 Palestinians, including eight women and 13 children, have been killed since the April 8 ceasefire in the Iran war—20 percent more than in the previous five weeks when Israel was bombing Iran.
Conflict-monitoring group ACLED reported in its April monthly review that Israeli attacks in Gaza rose 35 percent compared to March, according to Reuters.
