U.S. President Donald Trump has warned that military action against Iran remains possible unless ongoing negotiations produce rapid progress, saying Washington is engaged in intensive discussions with Tehran but will not allow the diplomatic process to continue indefinitely.

Trump’s warning came as a cautious calm continued across the U.S.–Iran confrontation for a fourth consecutive day following 13 days of air attacks. Military strikes remained absent, although both sides continued to threaten a wider conflict.

Meanwhile, Oman has presented Iran with a proposal for a joint regional mechanism to manage the Strait of Hormuz through voluntary fees. The proposal has reportedly received regional support.
