Three Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Wednesday in Israeli shelling and gunfire targeting areas in southern, central, and northern Gaza, while a fourth Palestinian died from wounds sustained in a previous Israeli attack. The incidents come amid continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire that has been in effect in the enclave since October 10, 2025.

In the latest attack, one Palestinian was killed and several others were wounded after an Israeli drone struck a tent sheltering displaced families west of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. A medical source at Al-Awda Hospital said the body of 28-year-old Saeb Abu Mualla, along with several injured people, was brought to the hospital following the drone strike near Al-Nuwairi Hill, northwest of the camp.

A young man was also moderately injured after an Israeli drone dropped a bomb on a gathering of civilians east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.

Earlier on Wednesday, a medical source at Nasser Hospital said the body of 59-year-old Mufid Abdul Hamid Abu Al-Anin, along with several injured people, arrived at the hospital after Israeli forces opened fire in the Bir 19 area of Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. Local sources said Israeli forces fired heavily toward tents housing displaced families, killing Abu Al-Anin after he was shot inside his tent and injuring several other displaced Palestinians, who were transferred to hospital for treatment.

In Rafah, southern Gaza, a Palestinian was wounded by shrapnel from an Israeli tank shell near the Muawiya Mosque in the Al-Mawasi area, according to local sources.

In northern Gaza, Mohammed Abu Ashkiyan sustained critical injuries after an Israeli drone targeted him in the Al-Faluja neighborhood west of Jabalia refugee camp. He was later pronounced dead from his wounds.

In a separate development, a medical source at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City announced the death of 34-year-old Abdullah Ahmed Hassan, who succumbed to critical injuries sustained in an earlier Israeli strike.

According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, Israeli violations of the ceasefire had resulted in the deaths of 1,180 Palestinians and injuries to 3,810 others as of Wednesday. The ceasefire agreement was reached to halt the war that has continued in the Gaza Strip since October 8, 2023, leaving more than 73,000 people dead, over 173,000 injured, and causing widespread destruction to nearly 90% of the enclave's civilian infrastructure.
