Three Palestinians, including North Gaza Police Director Brig. Gen. Abdel Nasser Mohammed Al-Maqadma, were killed and several others injured on Saturday in a series of Israeli strikes targeting northern, central, and southern Gaza.

Gaza’s Interior Ministry announced that Brig. Gen. Al-Maqadma, 54, was killed in an Israeli airstrike in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, northwest of Gaza City. In a statement, the ministry said he was targeted by Israeli aircraft but did not provide further details about the attack.

Medical and field sources said an Israeli drone fired at least one missile at a tent sheltering displaced people near Al-Deeb barracks, west of Al-Zawaida in central Gaza, causing casualties and extensive damage.

According to medical sources, two injured people were admitted to the Belgian Field Hospital in central Gaza. One was reported in critical condition, while the other sustained moderate injuries and remains under medical care.

In a separate incident, an Israeli drone struck a civilian vehicle parked outside the Palestinian Civil Defense headquarters near Abu Sharkh roundabout, west of Jabalia in northern Gaza.

The strike seriously injured one person, who was transferred to Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City for treatment. The attack also caused significant damage to several Civil Defense vehicles, according to the agency.

Earlier on Saturday, Gaza’s Health Ministry reported that six bodies and 37 injured people had arrived at hospitals across the territory during the previous 48 hours as Israeli military operations continued.

The ministry said four of the victims were killed in recent attacks, while two others died from wounds sustained earlier. It added that a number of victims remain trapped beneath rubble or in inaccessible areas because ambulance and Civil Defense crews have been unable to reach them.

According to the ministry, the death toll since the ceasefire took effect in October 2025 has risen to 1,191, with 3,853 people injured, in addition to 803 bodies recovered.

The ministry also said the cumulative toll since the start of the war on October 7, 2023, has reached 73,317 killed and 173,961 injured.
