Southern Lebanon, May 2026:  In recent days, Southern Lebanon has once again become the center of International attention after the spread of images and testimonies concerning the alleged use by the israeli army of and explosive substance named my local resident "The Death Pink", according to some lebanese media and regionali sources, it is said to be and explosive emulsion based on ammonium nitrate recognizable by its pink colo, used in operations to demolish buildings and infrastructure areas close to the israeli border.
Videos shared online reportedly show units of the zionist occupation forces placing containers of the substance inside homes and infrastructure before the explosions, in many villages in Southern Lebanon, widespread destruction has been reported with houses completely destroyed and entire areas reduced to rubble.
A SUBSTANCE USED FOR DEMOLITIONS.
Ammonium nitrate, is a chemical compund used in industriale and agriculture fields, when combined with others substances it can be transformed into powerful explosive, often used in mining and controlled demolitions.
According to several observers, Israel have chose this type of emulsion because its more effettive and its relatively low cost compared to the use of missiles or continuous air strikes, come military analysts claim that these operations are part of a strategy aiimed at creating a "security" zone along Israel's northern border.
Israeli authorities state that the destroyed buildings were linked to Hezbollah infrastructure or activities, Hezbollah is a shiite armed group supported by Iran and active in Southern Lebanon, however, many of the circulated images show civilian homes and neighborhoods heavily damages by the Zionist Entity.

The use of the so-called "Pink Death" has caused strong relations from medias, humanitarian organizations and political commentators, the main criticisms directed at Israel concern the large-scale destruction of villages and civilian homes, the risk of permanenti diplacement of the population of Southern Lebanon, the use of highly powerful explosives in residential areas, including near schools and hospitals, the possible worsening of the humanitarian crisis in the region.
Sobe observers accuse Israel of trying tò permanently change the geography of the border through systematic demolitions, other believe that such operations could further increase tentions with Hezbollah and make any attempt to stabilize the area even more difficult, on the israeli side, however, it is argued that the demolitions are necessary to eliminate "tunnels", "weapons reports", and "infrastructure" considered a direct threat to National Security.
The debate remains open and highly polarized, while the military operations continue on the grounds and concerns grow over a possible regionali escalation
