Five Palestinians, including a young girl, were killed and several others injured on Saturday evening after an Israeli airstrike targeted a residential apartment in the Al-Nasr neighborhood, west of Gaza City, raising the death toll in the city since the morning to ten.

According to local reports, the missile struck the apartment without prior warning, leaving multiple casualties inside the apartment and in the surrounding area.

The victims were identified as a father, a mother, and their three children. One child survived the attack after not being at home at the time of the strike.

Later, another Palestinian was killed by Israeli gunfire in the Al-Furusiya area, northwest of Gaza City.

Earlier in the day, three Palestinians were killed and two others injured in Israeli artillery shelling that targeted a group of civilians near Dawlat Roundabout in the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

The victims were initially taken to Al-Ahli Hospital before being transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital, where funeral procedures began.

Medical sources identified the three victims as Salem Tawfiq Abu Zor (48), Ahmed Nimer Abu Zor (20), and Luay Nimer Al-Mubayyad (18).

The same sources said Israeli forces had expanded their control over the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood two days earlier by moving the yellow concrete barriers, known locally as the "Yellow Line," approximately 200 meters westward.

They added that Israeli forces continue to open fire on residents attempting to return to their homes in the area.

Separately, Mohammed Owais died from wounds sustained in an Israeli attack that took place on Friday near Al-Shaabiya Junction in Gaza City.
