Israeli settlers assaulted two women on Saturday in agricultural lands near the town of Birzeit, northwest of Ramallah, according to local sources.

The sources reported that the women were attacked while collecting wild sage (“maramia”) in the area between Birzeit and the nearby town of Atara. The assault resulted in minor injuries and bruises.

According to the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, settlers carried out 443 attacks within a single month amid the ongoing war and regional tensions, exploiting the instability to intensify assaults on Palestinian villages and communities.
