The situation in Strait of Hormuz has intensified after the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warned that any maritime movements contradicting Iran’s declared principles would face serious consequences, including the use of force. It also denied that any commercial vessels had passed through the strait in recent hours.

In contrast, United States Central Command stated that it has secured maritime navigation and opened a safe corridor for ships, claiming that vessels had come under attack and that several Iranian boats were destroyed after attempting to target shipping routes.

In the UAE, the UAE Ministry of Defense reported intercepting missiles launched from Iran, while air defenses continued responding to aerial threats. Reports also mentioned a drone attack on a UAE-linked tanker, though Iranian officials denied any involvement.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump said Iran had made a very serious mistake, as CNN cited sources expecting possible US and Israeli strikes on Iran within 24 hours.

The escalation has prompted Bahrain and Israel to raise their alert levels, while flights to Dubai and Sharjah have been suspended, reflecting growing concerns that the situation could expand into a broader regional confrontation.
