Five Palestinians were killed and 17 others injured on Sunday afternoon when Israeli forces struck a police post in the Mawasi area of Khan Younis. The attack involved two missiles and resulted in the deaths of Mustafa Abu Younis, Ismail al-Lahham, Mohammed Farid Subh, Mustafa Adwan, and Hossam al-Tantawi.

In a separate incident, Israeli naval forces targeted a fishing boat off the coast of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, killing one fisherman and critically wounding another. The escalation continued with artillery fire in Gaza City, where two Palestinians were killed in a strike on a home in the al-Zeitoun neighborhood on Saturday evening. Their bodies were recovered by rescue teams on Sunday morning.

The strikes highlight the ongoing toll of Israeli bombardments across Gaza, which continue to target police posts, fishermen, and residential areas, leaving communities devastated and raising the death toll since dawn to nine Palestinians.
