U.S. forces launched new strikes on multiple Iranian regions, while Tehran targeted sites in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan, raising pressure on the fragile ceasefire agreed three weeks ago.

Revolutionary Guard Casualties

Iran’s IRNA agency reported three Revolutionary Guard soldiers killed in Khuzestan Province by U.S. airstrikes. The Guard’s navy said American attacks and interference in Hormuz shipping lanes hinder reopening the strategic waterway and warned of a “harsh response” to further U.S. actions.

An Iranian official confirmed at least three deaths and 15 injuries from U.S. strikes on the port city of Sirik in southern Iran.

U.S. Strikes

U.S. Central Command stated Thursday that its strikes aimed to degrade Iran’s ability to threaten navigation, hitting more than 170 military targets in two days. Iranian media reported explosions in Aq Qala (north), Bandar Abbas and Jask (south), Isfahan (center), Sirik and Chabahar (southeast), Abu Musa Island near Hormuz, and Bushehr Province.

Iranian officials said U.S. strikes also hit areas around the Bushehr nuclear power plant, a military base in Choghadak, and a fishing pier. No casualties were reported there, though residents heard multiple blasts.

Regional Escalation

Jordan announced intercepting eight Iranian missiles that entered its airspace. The armed forces said they remain on high alert to defend sovereignty and territory.

Kuwait’s Defense Ministry reported intercepting three ballistic missiles, one cruise missile, and ten drones, with limited material damage and one injury. Bahrain’s Defense Force confirmed intercepting and destroying Iranian missiles and drones targeting the kingdom, calling the attacks part of a “systematic hostile approach.”

The escalation underscores growing regional instability, with U.S. and allied defenses intercepting Iranian attacks while Washington intensifies strikes on Iranian military infrastructure. The situation threatens energy security and maritime safety in the Gulf, particularly around the Strait of Hormuz.
