Morocco will head into its FIFA World Cup quarterfinal clash against France with five key players at risk of suspension if they receive another yellow card, raising concerns ahead of one of the tournament's biggest matches.

According to French newspaper L'Équipe, Morocco is among the teams most affected by the suspension rule, with several first-team regulars walking a disciplinary tightrope. The players at risk are captain Achraf Hakimi, midfielder Azzedine Ounahi, playmaker Bilal El Khannouss, and defenders Issa Diop and Redouane Halhal.

France also faces selection concerns, with Bradley Barcola, Manu Koné, and Michael Olise one booking away from missing a potential semifinal. The French Football Federation reportedly appealed Olise's yellow card from the Round of 16, but the request was rejected.

England has the highest number of players at risk, with Jude Bellingham, Declan Rice, Marc Guéhi, Nico O'Reilly, and Jordan Henderson all facing possible suspension.

In total, 20 players across the eight remaining teams could miss the World Cup semifinals if they receive another yellow card during the quarterfinals.
