On Saturday, the Palestinian community in Bremen, Germany, organized a mass demonstration marking the anniversary of the Naksa, condemning Israel’s continued aggression against Gaza and the West Bank, including Jerusalem.
Participants raised Palestinian flags and banners expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people and denouncing crimes committed by Israeli forces. They chanted for freedom for Palestine, demanded an end to the war of extermination in Gaza, and called for curbing settler violence in the West Bank. Protesters also urged the immediate entry of food, medical, and relief supplies into Gaza without restrictions.
Samer Bilal Aslan, head of the Palestinian community in Bremen and its surroundings and deputy chairman of the German-Palestinian Association, emphasized that this year’s Naksa anniversary coincides with the ongoing war on Gaza and its widespread humanitarian suffering, alongside escalating settler attacks in the West Bank. He noted that the Palestinian people face unprecedented challenges requiring serious international action to halt violations and crimes, and to provide urgent protection without delay.
