In a separate development, Israeli troops sealed off all entrances to Sinjil town north of Ramallah, using bulldozers and earth mounds to block roads. Local sources said six main entrances and 16 secondary and agricultural roads were closed, isolating the town from surrounding villages. Mayor Motaz Abdul Rahman warned that the closures severely disrupt daily life, restricting access for patients, students, and workers.

The siege of Sinjil reflects Israel’s broader strategy of tightening control and restricting movement across the West Bank, compounding the humanitarian toll of ongoing military operations and settler violence.
