Israeli security officials say there is growing support for renewing military operations against Iran, arguing that additional strikes could increase pressure on Tehran and potentially push it toward greater flexibility in negotiations.

Officials claim some targets, including Iran’s energy and oil facilities, were not hit during the previous campaign and say there may now be an opportunity to continue operations.

At the same time, the Israeli security establishment believes the United States should currently lead developments in the Gulf, with Israel avoiding direct involvement unless Iran targets Israel directly.
