Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a statement emphasizing what it described as the country’s longstanding commitment to principles of good neighborliness, mutual respect, and constructive cooperation with surrounding states.

According to the statement, Iran’s approach to regional waters is based on collective security and respect for the territorial integrity of all countries, framing this strategy as essential to maintaining stability in sensitive maritime zones.

The IRGC also criticized U.S. and Israeli policies in the ongoing war, saying these actions have drawn neighboring countries into broader tensions, particularly those overlooking key regional waterways. It warned that such policies have exposed the region’s security to increased risks and could further escalate instability.

The remarks come amid heightened regional tensions, as concerns grow over the potential spillover of conflict into strategic maritime corridors and neighboring states.
