Tehran — An Iranian military intelligence source told Fars News Agency that the majority of Israeli airstrikes against targets in Iran were launched from Jordanian airspace. The source said Israeli fighter jets, facing rapid radar and defense system replacements in western Iran, used long-range air-to-ground munitions in the attacks.

The source added that Jordanian army helicopters played a significant supporting role for Israeli forces in intercepting Iranian missiles and drones. According to the report, several Western European countries also provided operational and intelligence support to Jordan, enabling Israel to counter Iranian strikes more effectively.

Iran had carried out large-scale missile and drone attacks on Sunday and Monday, targeting seven Israeli military and economic sites. Despite heavy censorship in Israel, the Iranian intelligence source described the damage inflicted by Iran’s missiles as “unprecedented.”
