Iran will target energy facilities across the region if the United States attacks Iranian power stations, according to a military source cited on Wednesday.

Responding to U.S. President Donald Trump's warning, the military source said: “If any bridge or power plant is targeted, we will respond by striking energy facilities across the region.”

Earlier on Wednesday, Trump threatened to attack Iran’s infrastructure, saying the United States would destroy an Iranian bridge or power station every time Tehran targets a vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.
