Greta Thunberg has stated that she was recently labeled by the Israeli government as one of the most dangerous antisemites in the world, claiming the accusation stems from her use of terms such as “genocide,” “siege,” and “mass starvation” to describe the situation in Gaza.

Thunberg said the crisis in Gaza is ongoing and described it as a continuing genocide. She also referenced a recently passed Israeli law, which she claims imposes the death penalty based on race and specifically targets Palestinians, calling it a form of apartheid.

Marking Palestinian Prisoners’ Day on April 17, Thunberg urged people around the world to take action against what she described as systemic injustice.

She called for concrete steps including sanctions, divestment, and boycotts, as well as accountability for alleged war crimes and an end to international complicity.

Thunberg stressed that these demands represent the bare minimum and called on individuals to organize and mobilize in solidarity.
