Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced on Thursday that the death toll from the Israeli offensive has risen to 72,289, with 172,043 people injured, since the beginning of the assault on October 7, 2023.

The sources stated that hospitals across Gaza received 3 injuries over the past 24 hours, as the consequences of the ongoing offensive continue to impact various parts of the territory.

They also noted that since the ceasefire declared on October 11, the number of fatalities has risen to 713 deaths, while 1,943 injuries were recorded during the same period.
Additionally, 756 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble.

Medical officials confirmed that thousands of victims remain trapped beneath debris or lying in the streets, as ambulance and rescue crews are still unable to reach them due to extensive destruction and dangerous conditions on the ground.
