The Prisoners’ Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club announced Sunday that Israeli authorities have issued and renewed administrative detention orders against 17 detainees. They stressed that Israel continues to escalate the use of administrative detention under the pretext of a “secret file.” As of May, the number of administrative detainees had reached 3,376.

The following names were listed among those who received new or renewed orders:

- Ezzedine Asiyah Naji Abu Asaid – Tubas – 4 months  
- Hussein Amin Hussein Bajawi – Ya’bad – 4 months  
- Taim Rami Ali Darbi – Jenin – 4 months  
- Rami Mohammed Ahmed Khalil – Nablus – 6 months  
- Mustafa Taysir Taher Abu al-Rub – Jalboun – 4 months  
- Omar Khaled Mahmoud Hussein Ali – Nour Shams – 4 months  
- Haitham Abdullah Abdel Salam Houshiya – Yamoun – 4 months

The organizations condemned the ongoing use of administrative detention, describing it as a systematic violation of human rights, where detainees are held without charge or trial based on undisclosed evidence.
