At least one Palestinian was killed and several others were wounded on Friday as a series of Israeli attacks struck the Nuseirat refugee camp and Gaza City, while gunfire and shelling were also reported elsewhere across the Gaza Strip.
In Nuseirat, central Gaza, local field reports said an Israeli strike hit a public charging point in the New Camp area, killing one person and wounding several others. Another strike was reported in the camp minutes later.
Local sources identified the victim as Taher Abdel Wahed, also known as “Abu Hadi,” saying he was killed in an attack on the Al-Khawalda area of Nuseirat. The full number and condition of those wounded had not been confirmed at the time of publication.
Hours earlier, two Israeli helicopters were reported flying over Gaza City before one struck a residential property belonging to the Murtaja family near Al-Muassasat Street, west of the city.
Ambulances rushed to the area as appeals were issued for civil defense teams to reach the damaged property. Several wounded people were reportedly transported from the scene in both ambulances and civilian vehicles. The attack and resulting injuries were also reported by multiple Palestinian and regional news sources. Hamza Al-Masri’s field updates, Al Bawaba News
Later, an Israeli reconnaissance drone struck a residential apartment in Al-Taj Building on Al-Yarmouk Street in northwestern Gaza City. A woman and a young girl were taken to Al-Shifa Medical Complex with injuries following the attack.
Israeli artillery shelling was also reported east of Gaza City, while warships opened fire and launched shells off the northwestern coast. In southern Gaza, intermittent gunfire from Israeli military vehicles stationed southeast of Khan Younis sent stray bullets into the Al-Maslakh area.
