Gaza — The Government Media Office reported that the body of four-year-old Rayan Bahaa Abu al-Ajeen arrived at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital after being killed by Israeli gunfire in front of his father.
Officials said Israeli forces shot the child before targeting his father, Bahaa Abu al-Ajeen, injuring him in the leg, and arresting their relative Khaled Abu Ghrab.
They stressed that the victims were outside the yellow line, in what is designated as a “safe zone,” not inside the restricted area. The family was on their way home to check agricultural facilities when they encountered an Israeli ambush in a nearby house.
The office added that Israeli forces later released them at the Kisufim crossing, “handed them over to collaborator gangs, who dumped them in Wadi al-Silqa east of Deir al-Balah.” Meanwhile, another child and a woman were killed, and three others injured, in Israeli airstrikes and gunfire in central Gaza early Monday.

Continuous Violations  
According to the Government Media Office, Israel has committed 3,269 violations of the ceasefire since it came into effect in October 2025, resulting in 992 Palestinian deaths, 3,138 injuries, and 95 arrests.
Israel has allowed only 52,740 aid trucks into Gaza out of 147,000 expected, a compliance rate of just 36%. The agreement stipulates 600 trucks of aid and goods daily, plus 50 fuel trucks carrying diesel, gasoline, and cooking gas.
The office also noted that Israel permitted only 6,845 patients and companions to travel through Rafah crossing out of 19,600 scheduled, a compliance rate of 35%.
