Saudi shipping giant Bahri announced that all crew members aboard the oil tanker Wadiyan are safe following an Iranian attack during its passage through the Strait of Hormuz on July 7, 2026.

The company confirmed that no injuries were recorded and the cargo remains secure. Bahri emphasized that the vessel is in seaworthy condition.

In a statement, Bahri said it immediately notified relevant authorities of the incident and continues to coordinate with all parties involved, maintaining constant communication with the crew and closely monitoring developments.

On Tuesday, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned Iran’s targeting of the Saudi tanker Wadiyan and the Qatari tanker Rukayat while transiting the Strait of Hormuz. The ministry described the attacks as unacceptable violations against international maritime security and global energy supply chains.
